Jazz Album Cover
Embarking on this project was truly enjoyable and engaging for me. It prompted me to delve into my thoughts and emotions while expressing them through the arrangement of shapes. Immersing myself in the instrumentals of Glen Gray's "No Name Jive" served as inspiration, guiding me towards the final design displayed above.
The image on the left showcases the various shapes that were utilized in the creation of my album cover design. After making several adjustments, the finalized version, displayed on the right, represents the culmination of these design elements.
This is one of the initial versions I came up with during the design process. I experimented with different colors and positions for the text, but ultimately felt that the color scheme didn't quite capture the vibrant and energetic vibe I wanted for my album. So, I decided to keep tweaking and exploring until I found the right combination that really resonated with the jazz feel I was aiming for.
